Photo by Robbie Shone @shonephoto Monte Paterno is a mountain in the heart of the Italian Dolomites that essentially consists of three sharp ridges that join together, rising up into a single summit. It’s a lovely-looking mountain. During World War I it was extensively tunneled, and the route from Rifugio Tre-Cime-Locatelli climbs a lot of this mountain from the inside.
