Hi girls! This is the warm-up I do prior to every workout in my pregnancy. I also have been doing these breathing exercises prior to all my workouts PRE-pregnancy which has allowed me to have a strong core and protect my lower back and spine DURING my pregnancy. So these moves are not just for those who are pregnant! 😊TAG A FRIEND TO SHARE! ❤️

You’ll see me refer to my “TVA” often. TVA stands for Transverse Abdominus which are your inner core muscles, often referred to as your “corset muscles”. These are the muscles you need to learn how to engage, activate and strengthen to have a strong core. Engaging your TVA is also one big part of preventing not only lower back pain but preventing hip flexor pain as well!!

Two important notes:
1️⃣ Please get doctor’s approval before trying any of these moves.
2️⃣ After the first trimester, avoid any sort of “crunching” ab/core movements in order to avoid diastasis recti (separation of the ab muscles)
