Video by @jodymacdonaldphoto One of the many things I love about the desert environment is that just when you think you are in the middle of nowhere, something unexpected happens. On this afternoon we had pulled over by the side of the dirt road in the Sahara to take a pee break when, seemingly out of nowhere, this camel appeared before me, stopped at a lone tree, and scratched his back. It was a great reminder of a lesson I often experienced while I was in the Sahara: Be prepared to expect the unexpected. #saharadesert #sahara #africa
