Check out this video in honor of World Rainforest Day yesterday, shot by @RussLaman in one of the best remaining lowland rainforests in Borneo, and a true treasure of Indonesia’s rainforest, Gunung Palung National Park. Amazingly, if you look closely at the opening shot, @RussLaman captured an orangutan climbing through the canopy of this spectacular forest, where we have been documenting and studying wild orangutans with the team from @SaveWildOrangutans, and working with National Park staff from @tanagupa to run camera traps, and document this parks biodiversity in many different ways. But we have so much more to learn and discover. Take some time to learn more about rainforests, and all the value they hold for us today.
