What you are grateful for? 🦋
Over the last few days where Ive found myself feeling worried or overwhelmed about the future, I stop myself and remind myself of what I'm grateful for. literally just forcing my brain to switch from a negative to a positive. Here are some of the things I was grateful for yesterday:
The sun shining. ☀️
The blossom coming out in the trees.🌸
Our NHS. 🏥
Finally being able to get a lot of admin done I've been putting off.
The ability to call / text friends and family all over the world.
Having a roof over my head. 🏡
Music. In particular @zoehardman on @thisisheart last night bringing all the feel good tracks. 🎵
The @calm app and the sweet sounds of Matthew McConaughey getting me to sleep. 💆🏼♀️
It's easy to get lost down a rabbit hole of worry, but as Baz Lurhmann said: "Don't worry about the futureOr worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing Bubble gum."
