Woke up feeling grateful for my freedom—
the freedom to move, think, create, and express at will.
It’s a gift that many of us take for granted because it’s all we’ve ever known.
I spent some time yesterday at the beach imagining what it would be like to have that human right stripped, and I had to put my head under water and scream.

How does it make you feel to know there are people on this Earth who would risk their lives for the very freedom that you take for granted? 💭

It makes me feel like it’s my duty to exercise that freedom and live my truth- even when it’s not conventional or “cool.”
It makes me well with gratitude for the genetic lottery I won by being born in the USA and into a loving family.

Straight up, it makes me feel alive.
