Drinking a beautiful Brunello from my trip to Italy out of my grandma’s wine glass.
It was one of the things I took from her place after she passed, and sipping a glass of vino after a long day/week often feels like a conversation with her.
Losing someone you love teaches you something about life.
How precious it is.
How fucking fragile it is.
It’s painful to think about it but it’s useful perspective.
We won’t be on this Earth forever.
We will eventually pass on like all our ancestors before us.
If we are part of the planet who has the opportunity to do so, we should act on the callings of our hearts and live to the fullest out of love-
for ourselves and for others.
