Performers of the #NDP2019 theme song gave a moving performance of “Our Singapore” at last night’s National Day Reception at the Istana. Not easy to bring together so many different voices into a harmonious medley, but they did a great job!

One suggestion or feedback is to allow our Pioneers Generation seniors who are currently working to enjoy or opt for part time scheme. Many of their current job are full time which they had been working for since 15 - 20 yrs ago. But many of them hv a wish to go part time instead if retiring totally. As many r old n illiterate n thus r unable to past time if they r not working n alone at home. Hope PM can help to see if their wish can be fulfilled. Many r afraid to ask their bosses abt it. As they fear being seen as weak n not able to contribute anymore as before.

Happily there are many such harmonies in our society: inter faith , inter racial , bond between citizens , trust between citizens and government, between Organs of State and harmony in our schools, our heartlands and religious institutions . PM, thank you for steering all these well.
