I found this awesome throwback and thought man I miss eating Jackfruit. Yes I know they sell it at the store but it doesn’t taste the same as when you pick it on island. My brother used to bring us these giant ones straight off the tree 🤤

If you’ve never had it just know it’s so good, you get the flavor of juicy fruit gum. When these get ripe they let off a super sweet smell. The have a lot of layers so before cutting put oil on your hands and knife. Inside each edible bulb is made of thick orange-yellow flesh; cut it open with small knife or split the bulb with fingertips vertically. Inside each bulb, you find a thick light brown color seed; keep it aside and enjoy the delicious flesh (sheath). 😋 So good!! This size could feed your family for a week lol
