Being a busy dad has its pros and cons! Obviously the business can make you feel a little detached from your family at times, but when I am home, @scottphotobombs and I make it a point to connect with the boys on so many levels! One of our favorites is our morning readings! In the beginning, they would get restless after one book but now, they can go for 20 minutes of reading and learning. While I love the education portion of this, I equally (if not more) love the fact that they love sitting on our laps as we read with them! Ahhhh.... talk about filling your heart daily! ♥️

As an Early Childhood Teacher...You and Scott are doing EVERYTHING right for these boys to grow up in the most developmentally positive way!!! I LOVE watching all of your posts about your boys. Everytime I see your posts with the boys I think of all the ways they are growing up strong and ready for the future. You don't take your jobs as parents lightly and it truly shows. Keep it up...your boys are going to be strong in every way possible...physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. There is nothing more than us early childhood teachers could want for our next generations!!! :) :)

Such a beautiful picture @shaunt and @scottphotobombs ! The greatest amount of brain growth occurs between birth and age 5! You should buy some Usborne books! I’m a teacher and I just started selling them. I can’t get enough! They’re incredibly fun and interactive for little ones! Let me know if you want me to give you any recommendations! https://u8545.myubam.com

My 4 year old son and I read every night before he goes to bed. Our goal is to read 200 books by August 31st. Since June 21st, we’ve read 90 books! Some nights we read 5-6 books and other nights he can’t stay awake for even 1. The points are the loving, quality time and the rich language and love of reading he is gaining! @shaunt

So I started a workout group at my job and this go around we are doing the "rockin' body" videos...if I would have known how great this workout was....definitely would have done the series a long time ago! Not repetitive..which I love and it is so much fun! I saw your pic and wanted to tell you thank you for making these videos!

My son is 26, I started reading to him in the womb! We continued reading as he was born and grew of course. To this day he still loves to read. We’ve continued the tradition with my, almost, 3 y/o granddaughter. When I keep her all night we read a book or 2 in the morning and a book or 2 at bedtime.

I totally get that. I work nights as a nurse and my thing with the kids is bed time. I sing to them and rock them and snuggle them. But I obviously I miss out when I am at work so I savor every bed time routine moment with I am home.
