You need to learn to mind your own goddamn business. You tried to make it seem as if your 'views and opinions' were something philosophical and life changing that the world needed to be aware off but all it actually is, Is plain damn rude. If you felt so strongly about it, message her privately or don't indirectly call her out as this discussion could have been generalised, she's not evidence of your bullshit opinions. She felt good about her body after having 2 kids and she damn well should, step back in line and mind your damn business. She's got money to work on her body? Who the fuck cares? I earn minimum wage and I sure as hell don't. She should feel good about herself. The world is painfully aware of society's unrealistic body expectations and the means of getting there, we're all seeing the same shit you do. I'm not about to tear down a woman for feeling proud of her body just because it's so damn out of reach for me. The fuck you think you are? Her body looked wonderful and she thought so too, she didn't need no mean girl using her to validate her very ignorant and one sided opinions. And the fact that you're still posting about it: Disgusting. I'm all for having a different and well presented opinion and what you were presenting could have been interesting if you hadn't shat all over it with your ignorance and privilege. The audacity of you is really overpowering the feminist.

@deannarach I stand by my comments about her page being a professional, money earning page and the different rules and responsibilities that come with each. To me it is clear that as a culture we have blurred the lines between personal and professional, especially when it comes to social media. That said, bullying in any form is NEVER okay. I agree with you 1000% on that subject and believe it is about time Instagram takes some action. It is sickening the way people treat each other, whether behind the veil of social media and ior in person. Unfortunately AC is not the only woman who has been bullied, some relentlessly so. And of course I am not only advocating for women, they just seem to bear the brunt of the hate. Do you know the anti-bullying feature roll-out timeline? I hope it is fast-tracked. Thus far they have left it to users to manage and once again there have been blurred lines between actual bullying and comments that are “not praise and agreement” being deleted (not talking about AC here). Bottom line, I agree with you about bullying and am glad some action is being taken by the platform.

Here’s what I’m wondering: if reality TV and social media didn’t exist, what would today’s “influencers” and many of us be doing with our time? When we stop and think about it, the fact that we use these tools to seek approval & acknowledgement from a wide open pool of strangers is honestly bizarre. The fact I’m writing this comment as if my opinion about any of this even matters is equally bizarre. ? maybe the healthiest thing we could all do as a society is unplug and live life fully present with the people that matter and know us best and that how I interpreted this post. From one mom to another, I’m still a fan of your content @mingey and this post in particular.

@dhfhfhhrhfjdhrbgf if you genuinely think influencers/bloggers/Instagram culture does not borderline fetishize being skinny or skinny bodies in general- you should be ashamed of yourself. Arielle Charnas does not look healthy. Being that skinny is not healthy- being skinny in general is not bad and no one should be ashamed of that, but this is a different thing.

I’m not a person who usually comments on Instagram but I just wanted to tell you that when I think of you or see your name I don’t think celebrity but rather humanitarian who has some awesome acting chops. I hope your heart is not heavy after the recent headlines and is comforted by the profound good your voice is used for.

Honestly just drop it. You're making it worse. You shouldn't have commented on another woman's body to begin with. Her being an influencer doesn't change the fact that she's just a naturally skinny woman that happened to bounce back after having babies. Let her be proud of the skin she's in and just hush.
