FRESH vs FROZEN?! Frozen fruit and veggies can be super convenient but do they share the same nutritional value??? 🥦🍓 Studies have shown that while there is often a difference in texture and taste, the nutritional value of frozen fruits and veggies may be equal to or sometimes MORE than their fresh counterparts. The reason for this is that frozen vegetables are often "snap frozen" which means the nutrients aren't necessarily deteriorating. This is GREAT news if you are on a budget, as stocking up on fresh produce each week can be costly.
