One day after a tornado tore through Beauregard, Ala., a swimming pool is seen largely intact amid a sea of wind-wrecked trees behind it on March 4. A tornado that registered as an EF4, with winds at 170 mph, carved a devastating path through this eastern Alabama town on Sunday, leaving at least 23 people dead and shredding homes and trees in its path. It became the deadliest tornado in the United States since 2013, and was one of 18 tornadoes that struck the southeast region, government teams have found, according to @apnews.
