snow has been falling steadily since midnight alternating between great fat flakes and tiny delicate wisps of snow - we are completely under its spell

snowy springs seem to be our new norm here in New England and while gardens and fruit tree blossoms are on my mind, there is something magical about snowy light filled evenings that stretch out well past 6pm .
took this photo earlier this morning, taking the long way around the barn on a trip to gather a few armloads of firewood and take a few extra moments to appreciate and admire all those beautiful snow flakes .
