Quiet mornings and the most beautiful winter light
.
A few years ago on a trip through Germany and Scandinavia I kept coming across huge bundles of gypsophila - casually plunked into vases and pots and buckets on tables, on cafe counters, in hotel rooms - I loved this reinterpretation of something I had previously overlooked / dismissed .
And now, when I see it I am reminded of this wonderful trip and I often gather up a few bundles of it to bring home and plunk in a pitcher on my table. Especially loving it this winter as it looks like a million little snowflakes brought indoors .
