My best try at capturing last night’s #supermoon. I’m sure many of you managed to snap better photos!

Yesterday’s Chap Goh Mei moon was the biggest full moon of the year – surely, an apt way to mark the end of the #ChineseNewYear!

It brought to mind a favourite poem of mine, by 苏轼:
明月几时有，把酒问青天。
不知天上宫阙，今夕是何年？
我欲乘风归去，又恐琼楼玉宇，
高处不胜寒。
起舞弄清影，何似在人间！
转朱阁，低绮户，照无眠。
不应有恨，何事长向别时圆？
人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴圆缺，
此事古难全。

khoojiazhenmiki A BIG Thank You to Mr PM for sharing this beautiful photo. It’s simple but beautiful shot. Will keep as wallpaper in my phone. Was singing poem to myself poem (邓丽君 & Faye Wong sang them). Poems are beautiful. They bring out the beauty of a language. Our younger generation of children must learn to appreciate poems. Make it part of school curriculum, tap their linguistics talents in their mother tongue language. Who knows there’re many 李白or William Shakespeare out there👍
