my world may be currently snow covered but I’ve mentally wandered off into spring - looking ahead to plans for 2019 which include the years Points North Workshop with @adelasterfoodtextures and @linda_lomelino (picture from our Norway workshop this past June 2018 @melgaarden ) . . . we three are busy creating another beautiful adventure and would love to have you join us this year - head to the blog and sign up to the mailing list for early registration and workshop notices - I’ll put a link in profile . . creating spaces for gathering and creativity is something I’ve done for many years now -in different places, along side many talented individuals. It is part of my creative practice but more than that, it’s something I love doing beyond words. To create the temporal, the ephemeral from nothing, knowing it will exist in the world for only a short time and only for the purpose or bringing delight to those in attendance - I can scarcely think of any better work than that . . Some of you will have heard this before from me, but I truly believe we all need (at times) spaces that are without pressure to produce - without deadlines, without end products, without the squeeze to deliver - in order to foster personal creative growth and sustainable creative practice.
