You know what’s hard on a marriage? A home renovation. Particularly one that has gone as off the rails as ours. I will say though that when everything really seemed like it was going wrong and I absolutely could not deal, Mike stepped in, made some tough decisions, and started managing the project. He gave me the freedom to step away for a bit and I am forever grateful. If I am posting less than usual, it’s because I’m dedicating my time to making our place livable again. We all really deserve it.
