Last night, Mazzy said she was sad for no reason, so we all cuddled in bed and I told her that sadness for no reason happens to everyone sometimes. In an attempt to get her into a better place before bed, I suggested that we say things we love about Mazzy. Harlow and I took turns saying things like “I love that Mazzy is a supportive friend” and “I love that Mazzy makes up really funny stories” and “I love that Mazzy knows a lot about unicorns.” Mazzy said she still felt sad, and in response Harlow snorted. This got a little giggle from Mazzy so Harlow snorted again and again and again until Mazzy cracked up so uncontrollably that she made us all double over in laughter too. Then she said, “Okay, that actually did make me feel better.” Snorts for the win. #mazzyandharlow
