APARTMENT UPDATE: Today, we are moving our stuff back in our apartment. I think it’s a little premature, as we are still not finished, but I’ve come to realize that a lot of the issues will probably not be fixed for awhile. There was a lot done incorrectly and when it comes to built-ins and bathrooms, these are not easy mistakes to correct. Oh my god, how I wish I could start over with the knowledge I have now. For those of you asking about my experience with @homepolish, I feel the need to say publicly that we stopped working with them a few months ago and I do not recommend them. It’s one of the reasons I haven’t been sharing a lot about what’s happening. I like to be positive, but feel pretty badly burned. We moved on with a new contractor and are still working with @emmaberyl, who is also no longer working with Home Polish. I will share photos and go into more detail about what went wrong soon, but my biggest issue is that Home Polish, in my opinion, has taken very little accountability for their mishandling of our project. But... POSITIVE. I do think, in the end, it will look great. Maybe not exactly how I imagined, but way improved. And, we have our view, which is beautiful. No amount of poorly laid tile or ill-fitting appliances can ruin that.
