I'm so sad my travels around Zanzibar are coming to an end! It's been such an incredible trip and I can't even describe the difference I feel inside from when I arrived to now! ??☀️? 2018 was an amazing year work-wise, but personally it was incredibly challenging. Self-love is definitely a journey and not a destination, and a lot of this year I felt very inside myself reflecting on my flaws, insecurities, toxic relationships (of any kind), so I stop making the same repeat mistakes and patterns. Because of that I've felt quite low and not felt motivated to leave the house unless for work (which I love). My personal goals for 2019 are: ❤️ Be open to romantic love - both for myself and someone else. I've been single since 2014 so I think it's time I let someone in. ❤️ With the above in mind, I'm going to read the red flags and stop chasing people who aren't interested in me. ❤️ Drink only when I'm having fun and not as a tool to numb my anxiety. ❤️ Travel more! We're so lucky to have Europe on our doorstep, and with cheap flights and hostels it's so accessible. Plus I have my best friend and travel buddy @jasminebarcelona back in London, not to forget my new backpacking buddy Char! ❤️ Find my inner child again. I used to love singing lessons (I sang up to grade 8 and was in the choir and loads of musicals at school),so I'm going to take up singing lessons again even if it's only to belt out Usher's Burn a little bit better in the shower. We should be doing the things that we love even if they never amount to anything, that's how my DJ career started! ❤️ Be a tourist in my own city. I want to force myself to leave my home and fall in love with London again. For a start I've been dying to go to the bingo hall in Kilburn for yonks! Anyone fancy it? ?
