A couple of weeks ago, I went to go watch the Jungle at the theatre and it honestly blew my mind. ?
It's about life in the Calais migrant camp (which has now been knocked down) and touches on the stories of several refugees and volunteers.
Whatever your opinion on the refugee crisis, I really recommend it. It was SO good, and very educational. Like I had no idea that a lot of the men from Afghanistan had to flee the Taliban because they helped English and American soldiers. Personally I came away wondering what more I can do to help... I've spoken to a few people about volunteering, but in the meantime time, I bought this T-Shirt from @theworldwidetribe - an account I came across after seeing the play that I'd recommend you check out and support.
Anyway, it's only on until 3rd November (I think), if you want to go. ❤️ #theJungle
