time for abs hip hip horr…or!!💀 (don’t forget to double tap💜💪🏼)

this was tough in the sense that I haven’t trained abs in a v hot minute😂

they’re not my fave muscle group to train directly, because I work them out in various compound movements already. but every now and then i’ll do a circuit to get my heart beat up & my abs in flamesss 🔥 ⠀
here’s what I did:

✖️hanging leg raises✖️ these are definitely challenging so if you’re new to these, try lying leg raises first - then move to the leg raise machine, and thennn try these💪🏼: 3x10

✖️DB side raises✖️ i’m using a dumbbell here to make this a bit more challenging. if this is too difficult for you, try working on a static hold for a few seconds and then build up in time each week. then slowly introduce dynamic reps as shown: 3x10 per side

✖️DB scissor kicks✖️for a dash of extra torture, Iift your head off the floor/mat and keep your feet low to the ground🔥🔥: 3x10

✖️plank crunch & twist✖️ a recent fave💕 get in a plank position and drive your knee into your chest. once it’s there, cross over and drive into your elbow: 3x10 per side
