I was fixated on a caption for this photo and then soon came to realize it was actually a feeling I was fixated on. Truth be told I can’t put this feeling into words. Serenity. Bliss. Escape. Freedom. All of the above. ??♀️
I was born and raised in Miami, FL and growing up around beautiful beaches was ‘normal’. It wasn’t until I got older that I realized not everyone gets to experience this. When I would hear someone say they had never seen a beach or the ocean I was in utter shock! Too often do we take the small things for granted. The ocean is my escape when I need to recharge alone. It’s the place where I go when I want to have a great time with family and friends. It’s everything I need it to be when I need it to be. This is a lifestyle. It’s about making what works for you in every mood, every moment, every headspace. Quiet your mind - wherever that may be - and appreciate consistency. Inspired by days off and moments like this that serve as a necessary reset and reminder. ??
