Happy 50th Anniversary to JTC Corporation!

You might remember JTC as the Jurong Town Corporation, but it has long since outgrown Jurong, and now manages factories and properties all over Singapore.

JTC faced many challenges when it first started out in Jurong in 1968 – having to persuade village folk to resettle elsewhere, and attract businesses to invest and open factories there. Its efforts succeeded, and helped Singapore progress from Third World to First.
I hope JTC will continue to push boundaries, break new ground, and benefit Singaporeans for many years to come. – LHL (MCI Photo by Chwee)
