@ロン・ハワード took over directorial duties on “Solo: A Star Wars Story” months into its shoot, after the original directors had been ousted. If the 64-year-old filmmaker can save the latest entry in the @starwarsmovies franchise, it would show he can succeed at any scale, in any genre. The movie, which opens May 25 and chronicles the early capers of Han Solo, might not seem like an obvious fit for @ロン・ハワード. Where the character is reckless and headstrong, #RonHoward is careful and methodical. He has transcended early directorial efforts — not to mention the stigma of being a child actor — to become an Academy Award winner. He is a co-founder of Imagine Entertainment, the production company behind his films and shows like @empirefox. Yet he said, “I have a risk-taking side that I’m kind of quiet about.” While he was intimidated by the perfectionist passions of #StarWars fans, he was won over by the “Solo” script. “It’s a pure adventure story,” he said. Post-Solo, no one would begrudge @ロン・ハワード if he chose to scale back his efforts. But, he said: “My kids are grown. I’ve got good energy. I’ve got the support of a company.
