If not the coldest, the longest. If neither notably cold nor notably long, still somehow the grimmest,” @dannosowitz writes in @nytimesfashion. In New York City, and others cities that suffer through winter, residents tend to rush headfirst into the warmth. “We wear shorts when it is really too cold for shorts,” @dannosowitz explains. “We buy ice cream even though it is 55 degrees and rainy and we are still wearing our winter coats.” The photographer @arnold_daniel captured some of these springtime disparities while on assignment for @nytimesfashion.
