Three pictures: all me. If you know my story you’ll know that I was a very shy child with low self esteem and found fame as a teenager. From being the class geek (left picture) to becoming a model overnight (middle picture) I went from being totally ignored and bullied to adored and celebrated in the blink of an eye. I then went on to have two children who absolutely changed my life, taught me about true love, hope, peace, humbleness and happiness (right picture). Across the 30yrs on this earth so far I’ve had my heart broken as has everyone, lost family to illness, overcome a breast reconstruction, raised two children alone, watched my mum battle severe cancer, campaigned for multiple charities, studied to become a personal trainer and nutritionist after using my English and business exams to develop my love for journalism and literature, and published five books to motivate, inspire and rebuild self esteem and self confidence in others. I’ve seen media grow from paper printing only in magazines and photo shoots to this incredible world of social media, influencers and reality stars. Having spent the majority of my life on camera I feel at ease in public speaking, filming for tv shows and talking openly and honestly about subjects that others fear or find too embarrassing to approach. I’m human just like everyone else, I’ve made mistakes, had fashion mishaps, being emotional in posting publicly but have grown and changed along the way. Whilst the internet allows for heartless ridicule, judgement and criticism please remember there are also beautiful souls who reach out to me and thank me for being honest, for showing others that you’re never alone and there’s always somebody in the same position as you, looking for answers and understanding too.
