King Farouk of Egypt’s personal Patek Philippe perpetual chronograph watch – commissioned in 1945 and one of the series’ first models – will be offered in our auction on 23 March in Dubai.

The timepiece is a fine example of the ref. 1518, one of the most desirable watches at the time. Only 281 examples were produced in total.
