Last exhibited in 1960 at Musee Cernuschu in Paris and offered at auction in 1971 in New York, Wang Hui’s ‘Landscapes’ resurfaces this spring for our 23 March sale of Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy. A set of eight album leaves framed, this 17th Century painting carries three seals of the artist as well as those of collectors Mr. and Mrs. Darion, He Guanwu and Hang Rongguang. #SothebysAsianArt exhibitions open on 15 March in #NYC, a part of #AsiaWeekNY.
