Zhang Daqian’s ‘Water and Sky Gazing After Rain in Splashed Color’ from the Chew Family Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy makes a splash this #AsiaWeekNY. Acquired by the China Art Center soon after its completion in 1968, this monumental painting is just of several works acquired directly from the artist being offered in a dedicated evening sale on 22 March in #NYC.
