ニューヨーク・タイムズのインスタグラム(nytimes) - 12月12日 04時27分

Traveling through New York City by way of Andre Wagner’s photos, you experience 2 sides of his identity: a photographer who can identify with the kid in the photo and a photographer who’s still bewildered by the life of a kid who grows up in NYC. (Andre, or @photodre, grew up in Omaha.) For 2 hours, between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m., kids run the city. It’s a brash sense of deserved ownership, from the streets to the bodegas, the subways to the Subways. “If I’m roaming the city during this time of the day, I routinely feel like a visitor — a subordinate, even — at age 30, to a group of 16-year-olds,” @rembert writes in @nytimesfashion. “I don’t have to like it, but I respect it. This is their time to be free.” Here, @photodre captured 2 students after school in Downtown Brooklyn. Swipe left to see after-school scenes from Manhattan and the Bronx. Of these photos, and others, @rembert writes: “I can hear Wagner’s photos, because New York has a specific sound for these 120 minutes. It’s loud as hell.” Visit the link in our profile to see that noise.
