This fall, our video journalists @jkessel, @adamellick and @johnwoopocketcam went to North Korea on a quest to understand whether war is inevitable. Along with @ニューヨーク・タイムズ #OpEd columnist @nickkristof and @ニューヨーク・タイムズ editorial writer Carol Giacomo, they arrived in the world’s most isolated country as tensions between it and the United States were at their highest in a generation. Yesterday, in a sign of continuing escalation, #NorthKorea launched another ballistic missile. “The risk of war is greater than the public appreciates,” @jkessel and @adamellick write. “There’s a complacency surrounding this crisis, which has been kicked down the road by several American presidents. Now, with war more likely than ever, talks are even more urgent.” Visit the link in our profile to see “From North Korea, With Dread,” their #NYTOpinion documentary. Here, you’re viewing scenes from the trip, accompanied by audio from President @ドナルド・トランプ's provocative speech at the United Nations in September.
