Behind the scenes, an intricate web of logistics and supply chains works to bring goods from A to B. With e-commerce taking off, logistics has a bigger role to play than ever – and this is where tech and innovation makes a big difference.

I opened Supply Chain City in the Jurong Innovation District today, which was built to take advantage of technology, such as autonomous drones and vehicles. For example, an autonomous drone uses Radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags to do inventory checks.
