For his newest piece, artist and #TEDPrize winner JR created this massive, powerful installation. It depicts a one-year-old boy named Kikito curiously peeking over the US-Mexico border. The best view of the image is from Southern California — a view Kikito and his family can’t even see. “As an artist, I try to bring back perspective. For this little kid, there are no walls and borders,” JR told the New York Times. Flip through to see a behind-the-scenes look at the installation, and visit go.ted.com/ellisisland for more of @jr’s work.
