For many farmers across Africa, reliable information is incredibly difficult to find. They often lack access to veterinarians, details on immunization schedules, updates on local climate conditions, and more. That’s why @tedfellow Su Kahumbu created iCow, a mobile app designed to support farmers caring for livestock and increase food security in Africa. iCow sends valuable info directly to users’ cell phones, and Su has already found that farmers using iCow see an increase in both productivity and income within only three months.
