Just landed in Colorado. I am ecstatic at the opportunity Zygmunt has given me to come train with him for the next few weeks leading up to my meet. I had planned on starting this next chapter after Uni Worlds when I will be relocating to the Springs, but as things unfolded differently than anticipated he set up a place for me to stay and told me to come & get started now. This truly feels like a dream, I never thought i would have the opportunity to train with Zygmunt at all, let alone become one of his athletes. When one door closes (pun intended), another one will always open. ✨
I loved working with him the last few weeks before the Nationals ... and his words of encouragement and positivity about my potential have motivated me so much for the future. I am ready to work my ass off and learn as much as possible moving forward under the training of an Olympic Champion.
