bits of kitchen alchemy on this rainy monday - i love the process of experimentation, of trying and mixing - drawing on old favorites and exciting new to me flavor, spices and ideas - not always succeeding but always having learned something more than I knew before - finding delight in using all senses to inform the movement of working in the kitchen, putting things together to create something - I have been enamored recently with spices introduced to me by Claire of @curiospice - yuzu & sansho - both deep and complex, intoxicatingly aromatic and alluring and part of a new recipe coming to the blog soon -
