sunday breakfast scenes- a stack of cinnamon pancakes smothered in maple syrup and crunchy toasted walnuts, a big bowl of fruit and plenty of black coffee
With the windows thrown open wide letting in the cool dawn and a myriad of bird chatter as my alarm clock.
I quietly put on the kettle to boil & pulled some favorite dishes from the cupboard. Setting the table at any hour is something I relish.
And before the house was awake mixed flour, fresh eggs, milk for the makings of pancakes - enjoying the solitude. Collecting my thoughts for the week ahead and watching as the sun rose, pale golden over its usual spot in the stone wall
