I used to chow down on Sour Patch Kids, Hot Tamales, ginger ale and peanuts when I would jet set... yet that just left me feeling sluggish and crappy the entire day. I've refined my travel fuel these last few years and love bringing a few fresh goodies along for the day. . . ?GREEN SMOOTHIES :: Blend and freeze the night before. As long as it's frozen solid as you go through TSA, you're good to go! I got this tip from a fellow SGS rawkstar- we have the best community!!! . . ?BERRIES :: Wash and store in a travel safe container and you'll have a high antioxidant snack mid flight. . . ?WATER :: Staying hydrated while flying helps me with jet lag. I fill up a mason jar on the way to the airport and make myself drink it all before I get to the TSA check point. If I don't drink it by then, they'll make me throw it out. So this is serious motivation to chug the H2O. . . ?DRIED NUTS + FRUIT :: In case of emergency or a bad case of the 'hangry' Im always happy to have dried fruit or nuts to munch on. I'm a huge fan of @madeinnature which I've found at Target, Costco and Amazon. . . ?MAGAZINES :: I use the "take off + landing stretches" to catch up on my fav magazine. I've been really loving @RunnersWorldMag since I started getting serious about endurance running earlier this year. They have great tips and just motivate me to run even if I'd rather stay in my pajamas and work on my laptop all day long. . . ❤️YOUR TURN!
