Read on to hear Jenna's awesome story and please give her some Rawkstar love. ? ✨ I found the SGS community after scouring the Internet for ways to cope with Lupus holistically. I was initially looking for anti-inflammatory diets, which led me to green smoothies, which led me to SGS. After falling in love with the SGS Instagram community, I rushed off to buy the SGS book, and now more than a year later, SGS is part of my daily routine. ✨ I feel passionate when I feel good, and green smoothies make me feel good. After I have my daily smoothie, I'm instantly filled with energy, I feel more awake, and even happier. Plus there's no crash later because I'm fueling my body with the foods it needs. ✨ As a yoga teacher, my diet is a huge part of my practice. My yoga practice is very telling. It tells me when I haven't gotten enough sleep, when I need an attitude adjustment, and when I've been eating the wrong foods. Food fuels my body for my practice, so it's important that I make conscious choices to eat lots of whole, real foods. ✨ Aside from yoga, my diet was a key player in putting my Lupus in remission. It's crazy how much the body changes when you decide to feed it properly. I'm much more active, my mind is sharper and quicker, and most importantly, I'm healthier than I've ever been.
