Just met Lao PM Thongloun Sisoulith on Saturday at the #ASEAN2017 Summit in Manila, and was glad to see him again on his intro visit yesterday.

Many Laotians have studied in Singapore. The Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP) has 12,500 Lao alumni, including PM Thongloun himself!
Our youth groups visit Laos to do community projects. PM Thongloun told me he had suggested such a programme when he was studying at @nanyangpoly. These exchanges create lasting friendships and goodwill.
Singapore businesses are seeing opportunities in Laos. I hope that we can expand our economic cooperation with Laos further, and be part of Laos’ growth story. – LHL (MCI Photo by Kenji Soon)
