a foggy soaking wet march sort of day. with the steady rhythm of rain on the roof keeping time today. we mustered up the courage to throw on boots and head to the farmers market early but the rest of the day has been about buttered toast and tea. And I’ve been pottering about the clean kitchen in the city cottage making plans and dreaming while stacking dishes and putting washing away. as the wooly grey evening descends I’m curling up with sally mann’s memoir, Hold Still and a glass of red and staking my on the best seat in the house
