preparing for a winter storm - the huge worm moon last night seems to have ushered in a bit of springs gentleness, warming the air just a touch and making outside chores that bit more enjoyable. the air clear and the sound of the bells from the old Congregational church traveling the half mile or so down the hill mark the new hour -
we are bracing for a storm - winters last gasp perhaps - and I'm busily making all the ubiquitous new england preparations - replenishing the wood stores and hurrying to the shop to buy milk and bread, as you do.
