cozying up on yet another bitterly cold sunday - the sky is bright and clear and the air so cold it steals the breath from your chest when you step outside - but the house is full and I'm especially happy to have my darling husband home after a week away - there a multiple fires going in the fireplaces and as many pots of tea on rotation - we are chatting and catching up and picking away at a few stray emails lingering in our inboxes as the afternoon ticks along - it's a simple quiet sort of day, the kind that can only manifest on the coldest of winter sundays, buts the cadence of idle chatter and kettle whistles and crackling fires are not under appreciated
