My version of cardio! Please note, I'm not trying to be a fighter and I use this for endurance so technique can be improved. Exercise does NOT mean 'run on a treadmill for for hours and be miserable'. (I think I would shoot myself ?). Exercise is anything that elevates your heart rate and takes your body out of its comfort zone! For anyone who says they 'don't enjoy exercise' it really means you just don't enjoy the type of exercise you're used to doing. If you don't like lifting weights, don't do it. If you don't like running, don't do it. The key to creating SUSTAINABLE habits is to ENJOY the process. When it comes to exercise to do something YOU LIKE TO DO. If you don't enjoy exercising you won't be doing it very long and it will feel like punishment. Find an activity you enjoy and don't make it about the exercise. The exercise is a side benefit. Try hiking, swimming, yoga, dancing etc etc. Find anything that keeps you active every day because it will keep you THINKING healthy which will in turn lead to other healthier decisions made throughout the day ??
