I DON'T EAT CHICKEN ? *DISCLAIMER: before I get attacked by vegans/vegetarians: I have NOTHING against people who don't eat meat, I work with both vegans and vegetarians and I'm not here trying to convince you to shift your ways ? lol. The protein sources in my diet are largely composed of fatty fish like Salmon and red, yes, RED meat. Red meat gets such a bad reputation for being 'high in cholesterol' but it's actually a great source of quality protein (buy grass-fed beef when possible!). A great deal of antibiotics are pumped into chicken so if you are eating chicken, please make sure it's certified organic or free range. MY body responds well to high fatty foods. Let me emphasize 'MY' because as cliche' as it sounds everyone's bodies are different! When I eat chicken I notice my mucus membranes act up. Do you ever suffer from bloating and don't know why? You're likely eating something that doesn't agree with your system. Food reactions are hidden as often are they are obvious! Intolerances and allergies are different though. Allergies would be more like swelling and itching and intolerances would be congestion, skin irritation (pimples), bloat, weight gain etc that people often won't correlate with food consumption. How do you know what does and doesn't work with your system? I personally believe in blood type diets and it's what I begin all of my clients on. Although it's not always 10000% accurate I find it's a great start to help figure out what you should and shouldn't eat! This is isn't to say I won't ever eat chicken (I do like wings) or dairy (I do like pizza lol) it's just to say that when I feel like ? the next day I know why! Again, it's not about eliminating things in their entirety but when you learn what things you don't react well to, you can eliminate the cause of that bloat and congestion and are less likely to gravitate to those foods later! ??
