I love my body, but self love does not end here. (please read below for further clarification??) While I am very proud of my athletic endeavours and my physique, my body shape is NOT the source to my self love — it is only a contribution.
I believe loving our bodies for its shape, strength, and its overall functional capacities is a beautiful thing. But like a building, it is what's found from within that makes it a home
While the building blocks of our home will change in composition, our character will not. Who we truly are is a constant that cannot waver by the influence of our sillhouete. Our worth is immeasurable and requires no evidence to declare its existence. No number a scale spits, no shape, no percentage, nada. I think its important to consistently remind my followers of this. While my page is primarily focused on my passion for fitness, the love I have for myself isn’t stemmed from these endeavours.
Self love is deeper than the skin, as it always will be.
