Nicole Kidman is putting women first in Hollywood. With her production company, Blossom Films, and her new show, “Big Little Lies,” the 49-year-old actress is helping to ensure that complicated stories about women reach the screen. She and @リース・ウィザースプーン co-produced and star in the 7-episode @hbo series, which isbased on the best-selling book by Liane Moriarty. #NicoleKidman said she was drawn in by the many moods of the book, by its strong female characters, and that “as much as it’s about women who are feuding, who are trying to destroy one another, it’s also about friendships.” Later this month, she will learn if she’ll win a best supporting actress Oscar for her role another project, @lionmov.
