The gist of it was that new year resolutions are nonsense, and that people should adopt "now resolutions" instead. My two cents on this, is that for anyone who gets offended by "new year resolutions" and find them to be delaying and procrastinating, to search for empathy. I would like to friendly remind you that our brains process goals differently, like myself. Momentum can be built in a billion ways for each individual, and if there is no catalyst present to push you into achieving your goals yet, how do you rush for something you don't fully want? Momentum is built by desire. So then, build your desire. I think there is absolutely NO problem with setting long term goals or "resolutions". If time is what you need, take it. Don't reach for something simply because you "should". Rather, focus on your "want" instead. In a go-go-go-faster type world, it's rare people even allot time for these questions and constructive planning. I encourage you to take the time to find the things you wish to strive for. You will intuitively know the best time and approach. Trust in this voice, honour these desires, and then (and only then) get working ?
